The Jason Statham Diet is more about reprogramming your mind, rather than being obsessed over what you “can’t have.” He revealed a lot of this in an interview with Men’s Health where Statham said he eats really clean (nuts, beans, meats, veggies, etc) about 95% of the time and then let’s himself indulge in his weakness: chocolate about 5% of the time. He follows the philosophy of eating for your body, rather than against it. ”But if you go, ‘I’m not going to eat that because I’m gonna lose a bit of excess body fat that’s depressing me more than the fact that I’m not allowed to eat that!’, it’s just reprogramming your head. It’s sh*t-fried food. You’re not giving anything up. You’re quitting something that’s disastrous.”
What does a typical day on the Jason Statham Diet look like? He follows one major rule in his quest to stay lean: No carbs after lunchtime! This gives him time to burn off the carbs he ate throughout the day, rather than having it sit in his stomach right before bed. The Stathan Diet is full of lean meats, fresh produce, and healthy fats. Here is a meal plan he laid out for Men’s Health:
Fresh fruit and oats (strawberries and pineapple being among his favorites)
Although no vegan, Statham loves the brown rice and veggie dish at The California Vegan restaurant, as well as a good bowl of miso soup
Obeying his rule of no carbs after lunch, dinner is chockfull of salad vegetables and lean chicken, fish, or beef. He does not eat past 7:00pm.
Between meals, Statham likes high-protein, high fat snacks like nuts or peanut butter
This is the way he fuels himself for the famous Jason Statham training workouts found on this site and is what keeps him lean year-round. If you want the Jason Statham body, you’ve got to eat clean, and reprogram your mind to make the best decisions for your body!
